EMERGING TRENDS IN VACCINATIONS
(Copied from the Great Dane Club of America website)

The following is a set of links and some pertinent information regarding recent research and changing trends in small-animal vaccination practices.  Currently prevailing professional institutions as well as the leading experts in veterinarian medicine agree that vaccination programs need to be individualized for a dog's age, health status and even geographical location, and should be constructed with the owner in consultation with their own personal veterinarian.  Finding a regular attending veterinarian and doing preventative medicine, including at least annual "wellness" checks on your Dane, is strongly urged.  Please see the following links for recent publications by the leading figures in the field.
